The other clans attacked and wiped out most of the clan, and the players were on the run, until years later they too entered evolution and emerged, fighting off vampires until they made it to the Oracle's caves, and time streaming device, and found Kain there. They took care of simple quests, evolving as they leveled up, until the day they saw Raziel being given a bath. Publisher Square Enix said the free-to-download human versus vampire game would not make it to full release having spent over a year in Early Access on Steam. Nosgoth, the competitive multiplayer Legacy of Kain spin-off, has been cancelled.
